Graduate Class Projects (2011-Current)

2.131 Advanced Instrumentation and Measurement
A very cool class that allows you to choose "nuggets" to learn about in nearly every field, from thermal imaging to EDM.
Our final project was a Masterlock cracking device.

2.810 Manufacturing Processes and Systems
The graduate version of 2.008, a manufacturing systems class.  The final project is mass fabricating some cool remote control cars from scratch and racing them against the other teams in the class.  We won!

MAS.S62 How to Make Anything that Makes Almost Anything
A very cool class put on by the Center for Bits and Atoms.  Focuses on not only on using machines that make, but making machines that make.  My final project was an EDM machine that you can mostly make in your kitchen.

2.744 Product Design
A graduate version of 2.009 product design that focuses on refining your product design skills.  Our final project was the sprout pencil, a pencil with a seed.

2.75 Precision Machine Design
Class ongoing.  Our mission: to develop a band-aid for bottlenose dolphins.  Will post details in winter 2012.
