High School (2003-07)
I attended Assumption High School in Wisconsin where I grew up, but some of my most useful learning experiences involved playing around with machines and tools at home. I built a number of fun projects in our garage with the help of my dad who is a master of science. Many of the projects below were built for demonstration at Tesomas Boy Scout Camp, where I worked every summer of high school.
Trebuchets/Cannons
What country kid hasn't built these? And for all those city kids, there is still time!
Solar Concentrator
Built not for renewable energy but for burning stuff!
Superconductors
Not a typical project, but fun stuff. Science!
Other Camp Projects
A few other projects that were built while I was the director of the Ecology and Conservation at Camp Tesomas.

The cloud-capp'd tow'rs, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve,
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on; and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
