DIY High Temperature Superconductor Fabrication

Inspired by a high school science project on diamagnetism, I found a neat recipe for ceramic YBaCuO 1-2-3 superconductors.  After ebay'ing a few chemicals I borrowed my dad's agriculture laboratory to sinter a few samples.

The graphs are an X-ray diffraction I did on the samples (after I got to MIT) to confirm the crystalline structure of the sample.
